We Need a Passport, Gotta Have a Passport

Ok. We had the picture made on Wednesday and were told that the passport would be to us on Friday evening. As of Saturday, the truck still has not arrived with it. The truck (yes, there is only one) has not run since Thursday and there are hundreds of people waiting on passports. The factory, one hour away, verified that our passport was done. Nobody seems to know why the truck has not made it back to the office. My only guess is that the truck drove into a wormhole and is now headed up U. S. Interstate 75 in the year 2063.

The Embassy gets MLK Day off on Monday. Provided the truck makes it back through the space-time continuum, we should have the passport on Monday evening and get the Visa on Tuesday. Delta has set the expectation that Paula will fly home Thursday. For the love of all that is good, we hope so.

Thanks for all of your prayers!!

You know...passports seem to appear from nowhere many times and can only be explained as a God thing. Somehow everything will happen just in the nick of time for you to escape! We know exactly what you are going through and we just continue to pray. Prayer is all you can count on to get you through things in Ukraine. We look forward to seeing you both soon!!!! Love, Chris and Vickie

Hey Paula and Chris,
Ande called this morning and I was hoping he had some awesome news, but he needed a western costume! I hate you are delayed more, but how awesome about the submission of the other dossier! I know that is like a treasure. Going to all the offices after you get custody is such a bummer. The kids are ready for their exciting new life and you just sit in waitiing rooms all day. We played I Spy and recited silly poems, and played tic tac toe way too much. I hope that truck driver feels the Spirit moving him right on to Kiev soon. Love and prayers, Karen T
