Dear Family and Friends,
I want to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to post to our blog or send a personal email. You cannot really understand how much it means to hear from the outside world during this process. All of you have been a huge encouragement to our family. We log on a couple of times of day, and all the kids crowd around and want to read the posts. Thank you so much for traveling with us on this incredible journey.
This week I have had a head cold that has now moved to my chest. So I have been coughing for the last three days. I have been cooped up in our flat for the last 2 days, since it is around 20 degrees (with wind chill) outside. Please pray for my recovery. I have traveled internationally quite a few times, and this is the first time I've ever been sick. Please pray that the kids and Ande will stay well.
We are heading out today to find a Christmas tree. We are going to try to make the holidays as festive for the kids as possible. Ande and I are going to try to go shopping tomorrow for the kids while one of the orphan graduates watches the kids. It should be interesting to say the least.
We wish each of you a very Merry Christmas-please eat some turkey and dressing for us!
Love,
Paula and the gang

Merry Christmas you guys! You are all in our thoughts! Brandi
We miss you all very much. Hopefully your days will be full of Kingdom living as you are undoubtedly providing much needed encouragement to the orphans you are visiting with. As for the extended stay, keep holding your breath!
I don't know if you heard, but Alabama beat Auburn in the 2007 LifeSouth blood drive at the Cullman Donor Center at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Witnesses say some of the Bama nation dared the donation line up to three times throughout the day. Nineteen year old JUCO transfer Imbein Curazy said, "Those Oreos were great," as he crawled to his car in the wake of many fans.

Paula, We are sorry to hear that you have a cold and the crud. It is never any fun to feel sick and I can guess it is just not anybetter when you are not next to your own CVS or Walmart! We will pray for you guys! How awesome that you are going to go and Christmas shop and get a tree! Please share pictures! We would love to see your family celebration! We are so thankful for all the love and warmth that you are showing to each person you meet, even in the (gulp) 22 degree weather your warm hearts I am sure are making an eternal impact on those whom you come in contact with! We are so proud and thankful for your service to Jesus!
Blessings to each of you!
