Simple Selfish Request!

Hey everyone! I have been in Ukraine for four weeks and feel like we have got little accomplished in the adoption process. I am certainly not discouraged, though, just maybe a little frustrated. I would not trade this time in Ukraine for anything, as it has been our privilege to minister to so many precious orphans. I do have a simple request, though. If you have been following our journey, I would love to hear from you. Even if it is a simple hello. I guess I just want to know who is out there in cyberspace journeying with us. You really can't understand how much it means to us to know that you are all with us in spirit and prayer. So please take a minute to say hi- it would be a huge encouragement to us all. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!
Love,
Paula

Hi friends!
I am journeying faithfully with you. I have loved hearing about your time in Ukraine and with Chris. I hope the judge has a change of heart and will see you soon!

Tanya

P.S. Ande, I got to meet your sister last week at SC and sit next to her during church. It was great to meet her and get to talk with her!

Hello, Underwood family! We are keeping up with your journey and praying for you. I have had a hard time commenting, though, due to some computer hiccups on my end.

Ande and Paula,
We are here and praying for a miracle ! Please, please continue to plead your case before this judge. If the Lord so chooses, He can move her to act. If not, we still trust it is for HIS ultimate glory that things are on HIS timetable and not ours. Much love and prayer...the Hoosiers

Hey guys-
The body of Jesus Christ that meets in M17 is praying for you. Count on it. Sorry that so many of us are terrible bloggers. We are riding the waves of the seas of Ukr government right along with you. Praying that God will bring things to pass in the way that makes His name most famous!

Paula, It is not selfish to want to hear from friends. We are praying and following all that is going on-praying especially for Ande. NOTHING, even what seems to be waiting in a cold foreign country is wasted with the Lord. And what has been will be restored to all of you because you live under the Blessing of the Lord. Thank you for going, we are so blessed. It has gotten really cold here after a week of record heat, but we welcome it. Miss you sooo much and cannot wait to see all of you again. Love you, Heather for the Downeys

Paula and Ande,

It took a while, but I've now entered the world of bloggers--just for you! Sounds like the best of times and the worst of times! We are praying earnestly that unless the Lord has a specific reason for delaying your court date, that he will intervene on your behalf, and especially on Chris' behalf. We are praying for the judge's heart to be sensitive to this child's need. We are praying for your strength and encouragement as well in light of the very turbulent journey you've had so far. One thought came to mind that I wanted to share with you as I prayed. I asked the Lord why this adoption process has been such a difficult path for you, and he clearly impressed on me that it is because he can trust you to stay faithful to him as he does a work that is larger than the adoption. You are beloved.

Love and blessings,
JR and Laura

P.S. If this shows up 10 times on your coments section, it is because I am having trouble figuring out how to do it correctly!

"Hi" from the Chandlers! We are following your journey as well. It's been about a week since I read any blogs but we are here and are praying for all of you. I am just amazed at all of the orphans you are able to help while you are there. What an amazing blessing you are to so many - including us! I saw one of Ande's business cards a few weeks ago at SAMS and prayed for you as I was doing my shopping! I love God's gentle reminders. We love you!

Hello Underwood Family,
Just wanted you to know that we're thinking of you and praying for you. I know this is a long journey, but I'm so glad that you're getting to go through it together as a family. It will be incredible to look back and see how the Lord orchestrated all of these details.

Love,
Meredith for the Clement family
